DRY BRUSHING
HOW TO
Dry brushing is a simple, natural way to support your lymphatic health. Because the lymphatic system doesn’t have a central pump like the heart, it relies on movement, breath, and gentle external pressure to help move lymph fluid through the body. With just a few brushing sessions each week, you’ll start to feel the difference with more energy, better circulation, and a healthy glow from within. It’s a ritual your body will quickly fall in love with.
1. START ON YOUR FEET & LEGS
Begin on dry skin at the bottom of your legs and brush upward towards your heart, avoiding any cuts or irritated areas
2. Work With Gentle Strokes
Keep the skin completely dry, use light pressure, and create small or long strokes depending on the area.
3. Move Up the Body
Brush upward towards your stomach and hips, using clockwise circular motions on your abdomen.
4. Brush the Upper Body
Gently brush your arms, shoulders and underarms towards the heart, keeping the pressure soft and supportive.
5. Finish With the Neck
Use your fingertips to lightly tap down your neck, keeping this delicate area gentle and calm.
6. Time and Repetition
Each area only needs 5–10 strokes, with the whole ritual taking just 3–5 minutes.
7. Check In With Your Body
Dry brushing should feel soothing, never painful — a nurturing boost for skin and lymphatic flow
8. Rinse and Nourish
Finish with a warm shower or bath, then nourish your skin with a generous layer of body oil.
